5月6日至5月16日，上师出国美加英部前往美国东部，先后访问了14所高中和6所大学，并详细考察了学校的教学设施、学习环境和国际学生招收情况，修正了国内众多机构对部分学校的刻板印象和错误评估，并新开发了多所在东部地区相当出众的学校。
